INS Sindhukirti (S61) is a Sindhughosh-class diesel-electric submarine of the Indian Navy.[1] The submarine has been in the refit yard at Visakapatnam since the last 5 years, and is expected to remain in the refit dock til 2012, basically 1/3 of its total lifespan at sea.
